fildyke Posted May 18 Posted May 18 Hi steve Just checking but I assume these won't fit under a 13inch rim Cheers Phil
Steve Bosworth Posted May 18 Author Posted May 18 Hi Phil, can’t see why not I was planning on putting them on mine with 13”I currently have the hispec big brake kit 285mm disks and my 13”s fit fine. You just have to make sure the wheel weights are in the inside of the wheel
fildyke Posted May 18 Posted May 18 Ok thanks Steve I currently have the Westfield hispec ultralites fitted. Do you know if these would be a direct replacement or would they need an adapter.

Naranja_Al Posted May 19 Posted May 19 These look now like Wilwood Powerlite calipers to me. If they are, they fit under 13” Team Dynamics 1.2 and Compomotive CXR wheels. I believe Minilites have thicker rims…..

I believe Minilites have thicker rims….. The calipers look to be Midilites, which are what RallyDesign is offering with the 285mm disc. They market that as 15" only, but I agree with @mTT97 as clearance hugely depends on the wheels used. Split rims usually have much more space than one piece wheels. 2
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman Posted May 19 Posted May 19 Yep, when it comes to the mid size and bigger four pot calipers, it’s just impossible to talk in generalities when it comes to 13” wheels fitting or not. You have to be specific about which caliper/disc type you have - sometimes with the radial mount types, even the specific kit used. At the same time you also have to be specific about the precise alloy wheel make, model and size. As has been said, many 13” options, I suspect probably more the budget to mid price types like many Minilite replicas, have rims that are just too thick for some of the four pot options. Where as the more premium types, like Images range, Compomotive CXR’s etc - all designed to be lighter weight, but strong, are that bit thinner with a bit more room for the calipers. 1
fildyke Posted May 19 Posted May 19 (edited) Ok thanks everyone for the info. Useful as always I have compomotive cxr wheels. Edited May 20 by fildyke Spelling

Steve Bosworth Posted May 19 Author Posted May 19 I can confirm they are Midilites, and would fit under Team Dynamics 1.2 13" 2
mTT97 Posted May 20 Posted May 20 just to give you an idea; this is the midilite kit from rallydesign with 15" wheels 1
Mark19691 Posted May 23 Posted May 23 If it helps, this is the midlites with 260mm disc under 13" cxr's. Plenty of space to get 285mm disc's under there. 1
