mega ade Posted May 7 Posted May 7 Can you not just get yourself an exhaust with a cat on just for mot's I was toying with this idea as my mot man even said my megablade would need a cat so I tried a different garage and he was fine and it passed. Quote

It would need a lambda too (so maybe a remap). That said, I may have missed the fact it already has one Quote
Popular Post Sam Harland Posted May 9 Author Popular Post Posted May 9 Well I’ve managed to get an engineers report from a Vauxhall specialist that dates the engine at 1990 so no cat needed. I’ve also just had a reply back from DVSA who have confirmed this would be enough proof of the age of the engine! So I’m gonna take this to the test station soon… I will update on progress! Hopefully with an MOT pass! 11 Quote

Hi Sam, chuffed to bits that’s worked out, enjoy the next 12 months 🫶🏼 and now you gave the correct paperwork should make MOT’s less stressful going forward. Well done Sam 👍 1 Quote
