Morris Posted April 3 Posted April 3 I've just seen the entertaining new Drivetribe YouTube video of Richard Hammond and his daughter 'building' a Caterham 7. Did they get a head start with the kit or is a Caterham more of an assembly job? It looks like most of the car was pre-built (instruments, battery, brake lines, fuel tank, wiring, etc. etc.), and is it normal to fit most of the heavy items whilst lying beneath the car? Just curious! 3 Quote
Ian Kinder (Bagpuss) - Joint Peak District AO Posted April 3 Posted April 3 Yep. They've not been a full kit for a while. Their assembly manuals are very nice too- Caterham Assembly Guide SIGMA.pdf Quote

Must be a very straight forward build (assembly). Quote

SootySport Posted Sunday at 15:47 Posted Sunday at 15:47 I can't see them doing the build all on their own, just seem to be acting daft. Quote
