DIY-Si Posted March 27 Posted March 27 I could be tempted, assuming I can get my rear suspension welded up and painted in time. However, since when was it £10 just to go to a pub car meet?! Quote
Quinten Posted March 27 Author Posted March 27 I know, the £10 (plus 0.79 fees!) stings, but you get £5 back in consumption... They're victims of their own success that they have to do this in the weekends. Quote
DIY-Si Posted March 27 Posted March 27 Do they tend to sell out? I don't want to waste a ticket just yet if tomorrow's garage time doesn't go to plan. Quote
Quinten Posted March 27 Author Posted March 27 Difficult to say. I was surprised to see so many slots still available, but with the weather forecast being really good for Sunday, I didn't want to take any chances of missing out. Maybe because it's "Build not Bought" most of the usual crowd doesn't apply because they may think it's not for them... Quote

Quinten Posted March 28 Author Posted March 28 It's fine, I'll live on biscuits and water for the rest of the month. 1 Quote
DIY-Si Posted March 29 Posted March 29 I've booked a ticket for 1 also, so hopefully I'll see you there. 1 Quote
Flying Carrot Steve Posted March 29 Posted March 29 I've always wanted to go to a C&M event but the fact you seem to have to book always puts me off as quite often I can't 100% be sure I can go until a day or two before and by then, in the past, they've always been sold out. Still, it's so popular what else can they do I guess Quote
