Wind deflector pattern - anyone got any?

Hi, I've been looking to buy a pair of wind deflectors for my SEIW to no avail.

So looking to see if anyone has a pattern that they'd be willing to share to see if I can get some made.

TIA

I got this a while ago off somebody who made some I’ve made mine.

Hope this helps you.

Thats a great help. I've discovered that as I have a full cage the standard one's wont fit. But these patterns will help me to get the rough shape and amend them to fit around the cage. So thanks very much, much appreciated.

Its been doing my head in every time I go out getting blasted with wind around the side of the windscreen.

Thanks, but as above, I've discovered they wont fit with a full cage, so will be using the diagram above amended slightly to make some bespoke.

Hi @Mat Jackson 1975

I'm intending to make a pair - probably using the pattern so helpfully uploaded on this thread.

However, how much were you thinking of to purchase yours?

Thank you

- I presume you are doing your own as you said, @KevanP

Thank you!

Yes I will have to make my own in order to fit around the roll cage

You're the one who's craving a car with an actual roof - I bet it comes with cup holders, too 🙂

That's where you're wrong, I have the Westfield without a roof &doors and two cars with  rooves or roofs😀

Well, true. But you do live on the Riviera not the West Coast 🙂

I have wind deflectors, but am not convinced they do much, other than look cool. It’s still so windy that any benefit on that front is negligible at best.

Had them on for a year or two, but off for the last couple of years.

They are currently in the locker with other Westy goodies such as:

Go-Pro - never been used/fitted.

Boot-top touring/luggage bag - never been used/fitted.

Standard roll bar - never been fitted.

Harness seatbelts - removed to be replaced by inertia reel belts.

Full hood - never fitted, needs poppers attached.

Half hood. Had it three years, used it twice.

Set of original V8 wheels - replaced with minilites.

Not to mention the covered trailer - not used since the car arrived in it about 5 years ago.

Yet I still find myself browsing the parts-for-sale section in case there are other things I probably won’t use or fit that I’d like to buy!

They definitely cut down the amount of clarts that hit me in the face from driving on the back roads near here.
