Mike Wood Posted March 10 Posted March 10 Hi Are there any very early Westfield Sevens still out there with BMC/BLMC/BL A Series engines, gearboxes and rear axles from Austin Healey Sprites/MG Midgets? Thanks Mike Quote
DIY-Si Posted March 11 Posted March 11 I can't speak for the sevens, but there's plenty of XIs out there that are Midget based. A lot of them run a type 9 gearbox though. Is there anything in particular you need to know or are looking for? 1 Quote

As an AH Sprite owner and former Mini owner I have a fondness for A Series engines and various spares. A restoration project of such an early Seven would be great. Quote

LoneWolf Posted Thursday at 08:29 Posted Thursday at 08:29 That can only be one of 132 made Westfield Seven, the first model produced by Westfield. Not sure any document exists for such car... Quote

Most of the early cars adopted Ford components but the earliest instead used BMC running gear. The bubble rear arches I’ve only ever seen on one other Westfield before as all the later cars had the square arches fitted. quite a find Quote
dvd8n Posted Thursday at 11:50 Posted Thursday at 11:50 Classic and Sports car 1985 Similar to yours but with a Coventry Climax. D Quote
