Watch this for a more sensible approach to the ban- Harry's Garage shame UK gov isn't likely to be sensible and will continue to see the motorist as a cash cow!

Ian, I think he makes some very valid points, but I work mainly in Automotive manufacturing & most OEM’s are well pizzed with recent/current government for the botched attempt and timing at removing ICE and their total inability to support EV - flats, terraced houses, etc

One major OEM I was working with 7 years ago had stated they shouldn’t have invested in EV and should have gone down the Hydrogen Cell route, which is still a possibility for many. 
However, for me & for selfish reasons I fear what the cost per litre & what level of TAX will be applied to fuel (petrol) in the future when demand drops off a cliff - Kit & Classic drivers will be treated like pensioners in No’s 10 & 11 whilst I’ll continue to think of them as a bunch of No.2’s
