Welcome Gary :t-up:

there’s no register as such but this thread is a good starting point to work out if you have a wide or narrow and the type of bodywork.

post up some pics and that will also help a lot.

Not much detail can be determined from chassis numbers other than the axle type, which you can just as easily find out by looking under the back.

Hi Gary, it’s a narrow body.

The design of the front wishbones suggests it’s an earlier car as it uses cortina bottom ball joints rather than maxi.

from that angle though I can’t establish if it’s highline or lowline bodywork.

Profile of the rear arch and tub suggests it’s a second generation pre-lit (Westfield 7SE) as the earlier cars had an aluminium body tub rather than GRP like yours. I’ll guess that yours will date from around 1986/87.

The 7SE then evolved further into the SE and SEI which are more commonly referred to now as the narrow body, although their correct designation would be standard body.

A photo of the engine bay side of the scuttle will help, and the chassis serial number as well which should be stamped on one of the engine bay cross member tubes,

That’s going to keep someone busy for a while…

I’ve never seen a grille like that before.
