Gary Essex Posted Wednesday at 18:50 Posted Wednesday at 18:50 I am looking for someone whom can tell me exactly what car I have number plate and chassis number are available just would love to find out as much as I can please Quote
Mark (smokey mow) Posted Wednesday at 19:52 Posted Wednesday at 19:52 Welcome Gary there’s no register as such but this thread is a good starting point to work out if you have a wide or narrow and the type of bodywork. post up some pics and that will also help a lot. Not much detail can be determined from chassis numbers other than the axle type, which you can just as easily find out by looking under the back. Quote

Mark (smokey mow) Posted yesterday at 08:27 Posted yesterday at 08:27 Hi Gary, it’s a narrow body. The design of the front wishbones suggests it’s an earlier car as it uses cortina bottom ball joints rather than maxi. from that angle though I can’t establish if it’s highline or lowline bodywork. Gary Essex Posted 22 hours ago Author Posted 22 hours ago Mark will do better photos soon I would like to establish if she’s a pre lit 1 or 2 Quote

I’ll guess that yours will date from around 1986/87. The 7SE then evolved further into the SE and SEI which are more commonly referred to now as the narrow body, although their correct designation would be standard body. Quote
