Malcolm P Price Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Every day I get unwanted emails from 4 or 5 websites. Is there any way I can block them? Mal Quote
Euan Hoosearmy Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Are there unsubscribe links at the bottom of the mails? Often these are in very small print as they don't really want you clicking on them but have to put them there. 1 Quote
Stuart Davis AO - Devon Cornwall & Somerset Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Yep, every mail should have an unsubscribe option at the bottom somewhere. Might not be obvious but legally it must be there I believe. Quote
7Westfield Posted January 23 Posted January 23 but, that doesn't mean they honor it I think some email apps have a feature to block specific sites Quote
Kingster Posted January 24 Posted January 24 Create a rule in the email app that sends it straight to the bin. And gmail (for example) also has a “report spam” button that works well. Quote
dvd8n Posted January 24 Posted January 24 TBH I've never known a legitimate vendor who didn't honour an unsubscribe request. Quote

Malcolm P Price Posted January 24 Author Posted January 24 Thanks for all of your suggestions I have unsubscribed 4 of them 2 don't have an unsubscribe option and one a I cannot access. Mal Quote
Stuart Posted January 24 Posted January 24 Some email providers have an option to block specific email addresses and/or domains. Don't think Gmail does but Yahoo definitely does - and it works. Quote
