Re your question regarding Class E, it's intended for Modified cars and as such they can run Slicks and are not required to have lights or for bike engines as reverse gear, main changes but there are others. If you compete in a Road Legal condition then to adhere to the rules you would still need MOT & Tax. But you can declare as modified and then you will need a Vehicle Passport, a one off Fee once obtained, unless changes are made. So your choice. Read the Section in NCR's for Sprint Licences and then Safety Equipment for your other answers. Quote
