Malcolm P Price Posted January 4 Posted January 4 My favorite is Hannu Mikkola closely followed by Ari Vatanen Mal Quote
Malcolm P Price Posted January 5 Author Posted January 5 There is also the demon Irish driver Billy Coleman and his cousin Ger Buckley Quote
Flying Carrot Steve Posted January 6 Posted January 6 All of the above plus..... Michèle Mouton! She is 73 now. Always fancied her back in the day. Great driver. Better than many men. Quote
corsechris Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Henri Toivonen and Sebastian Loeb. Attended a Lancia corporate jolly once and got to ride with Pentti Arikkala. He was a decent chap. Quote

KevanP Posted January 6 Posted January 6 My heros were always Ari Vatenen & Hannu Mikola. From a UK driver perspective, Colin McRae ( his dad Jimmy was pretty good back in the day too) & of course Roger Clark. Quote
Robin Parker (Red Spider) - Yorkshire AO Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Colin McRae, Richard Burns, Malcolm Wilson, Roger Clark. I could go on. Richard Burns died the same day as George Best. Lots of news coverage about Best, a man who died from his self inflicted lifestyle. Given numerous chances, but ultimately killed himself and hardly anything about Richard Burns. 3 Quote
Ross Seight Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Jimmy McCrae, Russell Brookes, Stig Blomquvist, all my hero’s in the day all the others pretty much already mentioned. Quote
