Crash test dummy Posted December 2 Posted December 2 Anyone interested in these: 270mm x 8mm two piece discs with alloy bells. Aluminium hubs with perfect bearings. The discs have been reground and haven't been used since, they have 0.002" run out or less, checked by me today. The bells have been painted silver, underneath is gold anodising but the finish isn't great. The hubs have been machined on the disc mounting surface to give the correct offset for the caliper (all "Cortina" dims - standard Westfield fit etc) so if you are thinking about just using the hubs then you would need to factor this in. IIRC I think that 2-3mm has been taken off. The whole assembly is very light - as they sit in the pictures they weigh 3.8kg each. Being only 8mm thick these would be ideal for a lightweight hillclimb or maybe sprint car but probably not suitable if going round in circles a lot is your thing. £125 plus the postage.
