Poll Question: Should I change my forum name?

I’ve had my current forum name of Captain Colonial since 2001 and had dual nationality since 2003.  In fact, I’ve now lived in the UK much longer than I’ve lived in the USA.

 

With the current state of insanity in the motherland, I’m wondering if now would be an appropriate time to change it to something some would say is more appropriate:

 

Debate and snark below.  The poll runs until 10 AM on New Year’s Day.

The members have spoken.  Well, 24 of them, anyway.  My forum name will remain Captain Colonial.

 

However, there's no harm having an alias, so I've made a few minor adjustments to my profile instead.
