ianali
I wish to move my internet wall connector along the wall. Only a couple of feet, but obviously the existing wires aren’t long enough. Opened the box and was surprised to find only two wires connected, the others just cut off, oh, and a big spider. the outdoor cable has no spare length, so what’s the best way to extend the wiring? Type of wire/connectors to use ? The extra length will be outdoors, so will need to be weatherproof. Anyone here have any ideas please? Cheers, Ian. Ian Kinder (Bagpuss) - Joint Peak District AO
Any similar gauge cable should be fine. NB the voltage can rise to a hazardous voltage when it rings. Hence take care!

ianali
Thanks both. I realise the question sounded rather silly, but me and wires don’t get on. Il crack on with it then 👍
