Nige_T Posted October 3 Posted October 3 I realise that it’s totally the wrong time of year to sell, but just seeing if there’s any interest… I’m being lazy here - the link to a previous ad for the car is below. I believe this car will be known to many of you in the group. It is as described in the ad below, and comes with everything in the ad. She’s now on 30k miles. I’ve done some sunshine road driving and 4 or 5 track days and the car is (a) fantastically well set up (I’ve had MSV race-driving instructors in it, who said the same, one said, “it’s like being in a Scalextric car, on rails…), and (b) bullet-proof, it hasn’t missed a beat and I’ve had to do nothing to it other than routine maintenance. I have given it the usual post-trackday checks and found nothing more than a couple of screws that rattled loose. I’ve changed the engine oil and filter after every track day, and had the gearbox oil changed after the last one. It’s also had a new set of plugs. It has been garaged 100%. The plate is now on VX08 ACZ. MOT June next year. Sailed through the last one (2 bulbs, aside). I’m in East Sussex and fully-comp insurance with Howden’s (A-Plan) with a £250 excess, one year’s NCB, including five track days cover, is £372. It is the best car I have ever had, by far, but we are downsizing and I won’t have room for it. In fact, as I write this, I am feeling rather gutted. I also have a trailer (which I also won’t have room for) and if offered the asking price of 15k, will throw in for 1k. It’s one of these that is about 4 years old and has done less than 600 miles, and is in very good condition:- https://www.phoenixtrailer.co.uk/product/classic-car-transporter-mark-ii-2-metre-ramps-3-6-metre-4-0-metre/ . Trailer will be going on eBay for £1700 otherwise. https://forum.wscc.co.uk/forum/topic/144169-chrome-yellow-sport-2000-car-sold/#comment-1527438
