What's the best way to ship two GRP seats please?

I've had loads of problems with Hermes/Evri. I think it's because I live in the sticks and the drivers don't have time to come out here. So they hang on to my parcels until they might have time then often lose them. Lots of BS updates along the way and absolutely impossible to contact them

Try

https://clicktrans.com/transport/united-kingdom/

I have used this service in Poland for gearbox, engine, windsurfing board with sails etc... even whole not finished kitcar on wheels with engine, gearbox, panels etc -  from Belgium (to Poland) , dont remember what else. Always  fair price and there is a real person,  not company with call center, on the other side of transaction.

Wrap well first with bubble wrap, then pallet wrap and send with parcel force. It’ll cost you around £10 in wrapping materials and £15 postage.

Here’s an example of some fibreglass bodywork I sent last year.

You need to be careful about what you send parcel force that's car related.

From their website: Car Parts, panels, doors, bumpers and bonnets are prohibited. Other car parts are acceptable as long as packaging guidelines are followed.

You need to be very careful with your descriptions of parcel contents and even then you can get a jobsworth behind the counter. Not surprising really when the two sentences contradict each other somewhat.

they’re not car seats, they’re gaming chairs.

use the app and collect at home service and you don’t need to worry about counter staff  😏

I'd just say seats.  Go with the most minimal description that's not actually a lie 🙄
