Aluminium Westfield Gear Knob


WESTFIELD PART NO: 3233027

 

Great condition, one slight dink just the the left of the 'W'

 

Fits with three grub screws, one grub screw doesn't want to move, the other two work fine so clamped to my type nine gearstick ok.

Have you replaced it with another type? I ask because I've had a hell's game trying to get mine to stay tight with the 3 grubscrews. I've worked out it's only one of them that won't stay tight. Was thinking of replacing mine with another type of gearknob I bought. It's supposed to fit on a threaded gearstick but mine isn't threaded. I'll figure out a way to do it because I think it's better looking than the Westfield one. All a matter of taste of course.

I had two, a round golf ball type westfield one and the one for sale, both fitted in the same way with no issues. they were a snug fit on the type 9 gear lever. I have fitted ones like yours with epoxy and just left overnight, i never tried to remove them though..

Yes I thought about gluing it on but was worried it won't come off again!
