Cooling system on a Pinto

I'm trying to plumb up my pinto to the Polo rad, Westy have given me (sorry sold me) apperantly all the correct hoses to do so and given me a diagram too. I cant see how the hell it goes together, does any one have any pics they can send me to help me out ?

Black Shadow, I'm in Sunny Beaconsfield if you want to look at a Pinto plumbing.    I didn't build mine so I can't say how well I'd have done with the build manual diagrams.

I also got the hose kit for the pinto off the factory, i only used one hose out of it the rest i couldn't work out where they went. If you want to give us your email i could send you some pics and diagrams pretty straight forward when you've got your head round it.

You only use bits of most (all?)of the hoses if that gives you a clue. Can't be more explicit as I can't now remember which. I also chopped the metal tube containing the temp sensor down as it would not fit in the gap between the rad and the head. Rumaging about in your local spares emporiums hose department is a worthwile passtime. Can also send photos if you wish.

mmmmmmhhhhhhhhhhhh, Westfield coolant hoses seem to be in a class of their own, bl**** crap. (thats being polite)

I'm not slating the factory but i have my coolent system running fine and all but one of the hoses are still in the garage i just couldn't find out how they fitted, if the factory was to provide a simple diagram with each hose kit they sell, customers maybe be able to get full use out of it.  They do provide a wiring diagram with every loom they sell so why not?

Want my advise (for what its worth) fit samco expensive but worth it never replace another hose!
