The unknowing might find this amusing, but the truth is always weirder:

 

> The home owner is genuinely crackers.  Not eccentric, crackers.  Not enough to be a danger to anyone, even himself, or to get professional help but he’s still playing hockey with a warped puck.  He genuinely believes there’s a Viking ship under his basement floor.
