This is the  best way to see Henge,  instead of paying Rip Off English Heritage.

Definitely, though I did have a coffee and a cake there.

The A303 was nose to tail on Friday, so we took the road to the North and went back on Saturday morning to get some pictures. Loved the weather, just not the congestion.

I always try to do that section outside rush hour. Best is when I head past about 5.30am heading to Dartford; beautiful in the summer with the Sun rising and often with mist over the fields…. And no traffic!! 😊

Jez, that's a commute.

It is a beautiful part of the country and I had a lovely view from my hotel with the mist over the fields too.

We did wonder at the hay bails being stacked so high in the fields, not something I've seen before up here and it wasn't on Clarksons farm either 😆

Yep, takes about 2 hrs 45mins with no traffic so it’s not too bad. Just need to be on the M25 by about 6.30 and I’m fine.

The haystacks do look pretty unstable don’t they, but I’ve not seen one fall down yet. Was quite mesmerising seeing all this lot too. Busy boys and girls. I have a lot more understanding of what farmers deal with thanks to Clarkson’s farm!

Yeah we drove past that field too or one just like it and thought it unusual that the hay bales had been left out so long that the grass was growing back around them.

Again that doesn't happen up here, probably because they'd get a good soaking 🙄

Actually watched a Harrys farm, a few days ago and it was very interesting, out with the combine.

We get that around here where we walk the dog, the bales have just been left to rot down unused for some reason, not sure why.

Farmer's got too much money already! Or probably some weird cash incentive from the Gvt

They don't earn much at all, just enough to feed their families.  The strange thing is they will receive better subsidies for re wilding their fields in the coming years, so where's our food going to come from?
