I think I can call this a wrap now. I’ve fitted four 1.5m LED battens, two each side, plus wired up all the sockets I need by the work bench and also to power the Carcoon more conveniently.

 

It is much brighter now, no real shadows  and much easier to work in. I know it still looks quite ‘busy’, but I don’t have cash to throw at nice tool chests etc so this is the best I can do, quite pleased with it given where I started back in July. Still some sorting out to do but that can happen over time, have plenty of house projects to be getting on with!
