Hello all,

Can anyone recommend a trackday insurance provider?

Many thanks,

Yes, I’ve used Moris too tor one day track insurance in the past.

In my experience it works out far cheaper if you can buy track day insurance through your regular insurance provider.

It does, if you can find an insurer willing to offer it, but they all seem to be dropping it now.

I've just renewed my car insurance through Howden's for the second year, which included track day insurance. It does work out cheaper that way.

Which underwriter? I’m with Howden and KGM but they didn’t offer track cover. Might be a Lotus thing as a very minor shunt will damage a clam and likely write it off.

Thank you all for your replies. I'll look into getting track day cover through my insurance provider.

I’ve just renewed mine with Howden including 5 tracks days. My policy is under written by Markersudy Ltd. I believe however Howden are not able to use them for any new policies, they can only use them for renewals. Not sure why though. 🤷‍♂️

It was Markerstudy - they've provided me with Track day insurance for a couple of years. Thankfully never needed to claim - 🤞

Yes that’s who I was with a few years back and the 5 trackday cover was an option. I recently had to pay more for one trackday with the Lotus than what a year’s fully comp insurance used to cost me on the westy 😢

  • 1 month later...

I used Moris for the GR86, thankfully didn't need to engage them any further. -  they seem helpful and flexible when buying bulk days, but not knowing what tracks I'll visit.
