I'm still waiting for my hanynes manual, does anyone know what the toroque settings are for the bell housing bolts onto a pinto block ?

I would like to get my engine and box in tonight so if anyone has access to a manual or knows of there top of their head what the settings are I would be grateful.

My Haynes manual says:

Clutch housing to Engine 40 - 51 Nm,  30 - 38 lbft

My manual says the same. Anyway these can be accessed with the engine in so if you hear different you can always adjust them. Good luck fitting the engine. Did mine about 2 weeks ago and it went in no probs. What carbs are you running and what type of alternator have you got? These can be a tight fit depending on type.

Thanks guys, got it in last night just now need to tweak it up a bit.

I've got a complete 175 Bhp lump out of a dutton..... Came with twin webber 45's, no idea what the alternator is but I think it looks as if it'll fit.

Anyway now on with the wiring up....

Thanks again.  ;)
