Sport 250 Roll Bar (main bar behind headrest)

Hi Ash, hope you’re keeping well - rear ARB sorry no - I want to add height to the main Roll Bar rear of head-rests - I have a Soft Bits half top & the std Bar needs to be raised at least 50mm. Also don’t want a braced bar as I want to retain the boot box. 
I looked at bobbins or re-fab extensions but believe a Sport 250 is approx 75mm taller will be better option. Plus I’ll probably remove the rear ARB when refurb the rear suspension this winter.

Bump - anyone changing a standard Sport 250 Roll Bar to a cage? 
looking for standard bar without braces

Did the sport 250 have a higher standard  roll bar fitted ?

 

The sport 250 and honda had Lowered floors as standard which made the seats sit lower in the car which made the standard roll bar look taller .The sport turbo had a taller roll bar but you will do really well to find one of those secondhand in the uk because I only know to two of those  cars in the uk

Cheers Ash, I’ve seen photos of the Sport 250 which seem to have a taller overall height but I have no dimensions 

my current roll bar to windscreen are more or less same height from floor 

 

 

Sport 250 appears to have the Roll Bar approx 50/75mm taller at the bar end giving more head clearance when fitting the half hood (sorry no examples in side view)

I stand corrected that does look like the sport turbo roll bar on a 250  they must have supplied them with some kits
