Recommended Posts

I have owned this car 9-10 years now and like many it's a toy

Most of it's runs have been Lake Como, Austria, Belgium etc

No track days in my ownership (just not had the time)

it's kept in a nice clean dry garage on charger when needed

Standard 1.8 Ford Engine with MT75 Gearbox 16k mls on the Clock (over maintained)

Mapped in 2015 @ 138HP

Lots of stainless steel nuts and bolts replaced over the years

Tyres are good all round and photos show a lot of information

One tiny oil weep from front crankcase seal (quite normal i'm told)

A very standard example

Lost of soft extras all negotiable

Asking Price £13k

Phone 07917 823 661 (Neil)

We can e-mail more Photos (it seems i can only upload four (4) Sorry)

There’s no such restrictions if you’re a “paid extended trial” member?

Comes with all the English weather gear, and shows soft seat covers fitted (bamboo & toweling type) a must for extra comfort.

Considering the time of year it does seem a bit so. We've had so much wet weather this year it could be putting buyers off I guess.

Money is tight. Less people with spare cash to spend on toys. Also the prices have dropped, and sellers need to adjust to this. Price it right and it’ll sell.

Looking at what has actually sold on eBay prices have gone south - including Caterhams - the odd one now sub 10k.

To be brutally honest, the price is simply far too high for a 138bhp 1.8 zetec engined car. Also the interior is a bit different to what most people tend to choose these days. But good luck with the sale.

If someone is after what I call a 'touring' Westfield it would be ideal. Not overpowered so probably pretty economical, all the weather gear and it does look like it would be comfy on long trips.

Unfortunately I’m inclined to agree with @Kingster……..😔

well, many thanks for all your fabulous points raised, i guess some like fish, some like meat, some like pink and some like brown.

however i do find myself interested in Kingsters comment of the interiors....what do most people tend to choose these days then ??

and yes she is a great touring car, hence the locations we have been to.

agree, the Covid bubble has defo burst all the people on the free money have now got to pay it back i guess.

so we'll keep plugging away for that one customer.

thanks again 'guys'.
