Going to buy some wilwood 4 pots . Just gotta decide between billet dynalite or cast dynalite (cheap deal at rally design due to new caliper replacing it).

Do I really need to upgrade master cylinder to AP for best brake benefit or will it be ok with existing factory cylinder?

Also what pads should I get for my combined sprint/ road use. Would like something that'll work from cold quite quick

You'll be fine on standard master cyl - still... :p;) Fit a bias adjuster if you're that bothered though. :t-up:

Pads wise, don't let rally design talk you into getting the polymatrix things they sell - they're dreadful.. :( Other than that, dunno. Pagids would be best, but AFAIK the "best" compounds need to be cut down a lot to fit in the dynalites. Am sure somebody else will have an opinion shortly though!! :D

I have just changed my M16  & cortina discs to the willwood dynalite kit which is the billet version with vented discs which I upgraded to cross drilled. It was a simple job but the flexible hoses need changing as the willwood calipers use an adapter to produce a male 10mm thread.

The std master cylinder works fine with no excess pedal travel. I incidently have fitted the polymatrix D pads on advice from rally design. I only use my car for road use so I have no experience of very hot brakes.

dont go for the bigger pistons and you will be ok.rally design do all the hose fittings you need .very easy to make new hoses or they can make them for you.
