Richard Slack
Hi, Do I need a full-face helmet for trackdays (given it's an open-top car), or will I get away with an open-face one? Many thanks, Richard
KevanP
You'll need a full face helmet. Only time you'll get away with an open face is in a tin top.

Kingster
It doesn’t need to be car specific for track days though, so any full face motorbike one will do. If you need to buy a new one, try and find one without the “aero” design at the back of the head as it will interfere with the car seat headrest.
Onliest Smeg David
But go for a one sold for Car use. Bike and Car helmets are designed to withstand different types of impact, if the unfortunate happens

Ansoeb
I bought this from Motocard who are a continental motorbike dealer. The price was really good and it included all taxes. Only thing was it took about 10 days for delivery but I was not in dire need as my first track day is next month.
