Craigieboy
Hi everyone, Just joined the club after buying my first Westfield at the start of June. I only had it a day before heading off to the Alps on a road trip, I'm now home and still getting to grips with it. I purchased it from Big d through his advert here and although there was a great distance involved he was a gent and the process was painless. Its strictly not my first Westfield tbh, I did have an SE kit back in the 90's, however with an impending wedding, honeymoon and new house etc it was an expense too far and I sold it unfinished. Had my first run in it on Sunday down to the Jim Clark museum in Duns, which I thought was quite fitting and not too far for the first one. I plan on putting plenty of miles on it, that's what it's for after all and I'm blessed with some great roads up here. Hopefully I'll get to meet some other owners and club members on my travels, weather permitting! Cheers Craig

Nice one. Looks like you were there earlier, we were there about 1230ish. There was a group of Jag owners there with some very nice E Types and also an immaculate Ferrari F8. They were all over asking questions about the Westfield and the Ferrari owner was taking pictures of it too! It's amazing the attention the wee car gets and it's all been positive. Lovely car in blue.

Thanks for the warm welcome 🙂 I should've clarified we went in the wife's car, I think suggesting we took the Westfield would've ended in divorce and anyway there's no room for all her shoes and handbags.

Lovely car in blue. I am located in fife, if you’re considering going out for a run let me know. Glen Devon to Crieff and on to loch earn is a good route, possibly looping round loch Tay and back

Firstly the brakes need a good service, though as I grew in confidence I was throwing it about on the roads I knew well. Glen Devon is a favourite for a Friday night and up to Lochearnhead etc and usually biker free at that time. One of my mates has recently completed a MK Indy build so we'll hopefully get some miles in. Cheers
