40mm Spacer - RESOLVED.

I am in need of a 40mm long spacer with a 8mm I.D. hole in it, O.D. can be any size within reason say max of  20mm O.D. Can be made from alloy or steel - NOT plastic as it is under compression in use. I am converting a car from a generator to an alternator and need this for the mounting setup, I have nothing suitable.

Do you have anything knocking about or are there any machinists in the house?.

Thank you for offering to make me one, I hope the photo below makes sense ?, with a 8mm hole in the centre going full length.

I made up a dummy just to test things, so needs this doing properly one I get the car back on the road. Any questions, just message me back.
