Finally...details of WSCC attendance at this year's Detling Kit Car Show:

Dates: Saturday 3rd & Sunday 4th April 2004

Times: 10 AM to 5 PM both days

Location: Kent County Showground

DIRECTIONS

DETAILS OF SHOW

As you will see from the link, there will be a Rolling Road Dyno available for BHP at Wheels tests............in public!

Entry and Camping is free to Drivers with Kit Cars.

Further Adult passengers will be charged £8.00, and under 12s are £2.00

We will have a designated area on both days, details of which will be posted before the event.

We will also have the new Club flags on show, these are on 6m poles so you're sure to be impressed by a maginificent erection.

Hopefully the club merchandise will be available to order at the show.

We have a volunteer who will act as a local co-ordinator on the weekend, but if anyone else would like to volunteer their assistance and support it would be very much appreciated....remember this is your club, run by members for members so we are all in this together (and we should work together to demonstrate that we are the biggest & best.

Weather forecast for next week is warm (the Elworthy kiss of death on weather expires at the end of March).

Any questions, post them here orcontact me Via PM

Enjoy the show!

Check out the website and previous show reports from the show link in the top thread.

Jamie Watson has kindly volunteered to be the WSCC contact for setting up the area and erecting our new flags (if I can get them from Northants / Oxfordshire to Kent on Friday that is).

Thanks for your help Jamie

To find the WSCC area ask the marshalls at the show - the organisers have reserved enough space for 40 of our members cars I am told.

The good weather is a promise (at least above the clouds anyway).

Chris Elworthy

PS - If anyone can help with transport from Oxfordshire to Kent during Friday it would be very much appreciated.
