Good turn out of frog spawn this year.

Hard to tell in a photo, but the black liner part is full of them, I wondered why the water was moving so much and went to see...

Takes me back to.my childhood when you would see spawn everywhere every single year. Those of us who remember the 60s and 70s are painfully aware of the lack of wildlife there days. Hardly see a bird or butterfly by comparison today. Sad times I find

Indeed Steve, I purposely built the pond just for frogs, never had much luck with plants in ponds. Although it's a bit disconcerting when on a damp dark night I go out to the garage and have to dance over the many frogs on the paving. Thankfully, never hit one yet...
