A lovely early +2 ! I had a 1972 K plate one back in the 80s

No pics but I saw 2 E-Types on the road today while I was out blatting around. No shows on and hours apart so pure chance

I like the Spires with the Radical shaped body, they look like they could be proper quick with a big bike engine in them.

At Harewood for hill climb , my westy feels a bit inadequate between the zenos from grand tour in Morocco and lister v8 beast.

In my first hand experience of four Maxis two of which were owned by my employer at the time, one by a colleague, and one by a relative, there is nothing 'lovely' about a Maxi at any stage of its miserably unreliable life. Good concept, lousy build quality and design details - particularly the gearbox and selector mechanism.
