Andy Bennie
Sport 250 ordered December 2021, chassis kit picked up Feb 2022 and body kit picked up April 2022. Built during 2022/2023 . Passed IVA first time September 2023. Now on the road, Total cost £33000, any ideas as to what it might be worth now ?
Yanto
Difficult to answer with so many variables, these cars they're worth what somebody will pay based on spec/desirability, also how quickly a sale is required. A 22 plate with 90 odd miles on it was advertised by a trader for £25k, maybe that could be used as benchmark bearing in mind he probably had £3k profit on it.
Mark Stanton
As with any new car, drive it off the forecourt and you lose money. As much as we all love and enjoy Westfields, they are rarely an investment to make profit, they're a kit car. Yes, perhaps some old pre-lits may make some profit or break even, but it needs a serious enthusiast to want it. At 33K expenditure, even with a 23 year plate (non Q) you will possibly not see any + return or break even, sorry be prepared to take a hit, if you were to total up man hours to undertake the build it adds even more to your overall cost, but that's what we have all done, its the enjoyment and pride at the achievement. Sadly when we sell our Westfields we only get what someone is willing to pay, you can get a wide choice of fun sports cars for 25k in Autotrader, that are far more practical. Sorry for the killjoy mode.
Rednop1
colour? wheels? brakes? seats? bodywork style? diff? what sump is fitted? what Ecu is fitted? what roll bar is fitted or full cage? shocks? All the above can affect the price of the car some a lot more than others so without the full spec we are all shooting a bit in the dark and it depends how you want to sell the car to a dealer or private .

Rule of thumb in my head is you probably lose a 1/3 of the build cost, so £22K
Andy Bennie
Thanks for the replies, not selling , just curious as the new company are not producing the Sport 250.

Toybox Specialist Cars are who I'd ask. They have sold loads and will almost certainly have one for sale atm. See what they ask for them and maybe see what they'd offer you. That would give you at least some idea, though you would most likely not get the same price a dealer can. I'd say somewhere in the 20s but even that is a big spread.
