Hi - Approximately what time will you be leaving scotch corner, given I only live 40 miles south of there I may meet you there in the morning rather than overnight in the hotel.

@MGG we will be aiming to leave the Hotel at Scotch corner approx 9am

Thanks for info on this @Julie Hall - WSCC AO Representative  I've also booked this Hotel for the Sunday night  when we completed TLWN in 2008 we arrived at Berwick Upon Tweed at 4:30pm and it was then a 4 hour drive back down to West Yorkshire for us arriving home at 8:30pm - which was OK but a long day for us so the hotel this time sounds like a good plan

Can you add me to the tour list please; Holiday Inn, Darlington booked, very tempted to book the Travel Lodge for the Sunday night too, rather than travel all the way back to Cheshire on the Sunday.

@Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman you are added to list as requested  and I also advise booking the Sunday Travelodge asap if you want it as prices are going up compared to Julies...  it must be popular !!

I won't be joining in with the run, but as it's on the same weekend as the Yorkshire "Run to the Sun" I thought it would be too good an opportunity to head north instead of the east coast and meet up at Scotch Corner on Saturday evening. 

I'll work out a route and times so we can grab something to eat with you all there. I'll also make a separate thread for my run.

I was there in 2008. Good trip, but on the Sunday I was moving to South Wales, so did the Saturday, the overnight stay and then drove from there to Cardiff in the rain in the Westfield.

Love the cow photo's, it frightens the life out of you when a tonne of cow stands next to you and you are strapped in your car, unable to travel........and more especially if that tail should get raised....
