matthew902
Looking for a fresh pair of seats for my 1999 SEIW. Made for comfort so not race seats. Currently has original seats but these are now looking rather tired.
Benrobson2999 - Kent AO
These are very comfortable. Done a few long trips in them and they look nice I think too

SteveB21
Ben’s seats are the Westfield Sports Turbo seats, made by Cobra. I also find them very comfortable and supportive, but worth finding someone local to you with a set to try them out if you’re on the large side as the side supports might make it a bit tight. I would expect Westfield’s demo car has a set fitted if you want to pop down to Bicester.
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman
Most, (obvs. there will always be exceptions, it's why it's important to try before buying), find the Sport Turbo seats really comfortable. Done multiple European and UK tours with them now, where you're all day in the seat and many hundreds of miles, as well as shorter bursts on very hard driven twisty mountain passes. BUT, there is a catch, generally, with the ST seats; they were designed, (the Westfield version, as others have said, the seat is made by Cobra, but is a tweaked, Westfield specific model). for the era of Westfield's when lowered floor pans were standard across the range. And as such, when sat in a Sport Turbo seat, in a lowered floor pan car, your eye line is very, very similar in height to what it would be with the old Sports Seats in a none-lowered floor pan car. Sport Turbos without the lowered floors do leave you sitting quite high in the car, especially if you're around 6" or taller. I know a few people that have taken the runners off them and made brackets to bolt them directly to the floor, which helps quite a bit.
OBO
Thanks all, Great advice as always. I am 6.2" and would probably find those STs too tall but they do look lovely. I find my standard seats very comfortable it's just they are blue with yellow piping. Plain black would be better. Thinking of recovering by a trimmer. Naranja_Al
Russell, I recently recoloured the leather pads on my JK Composites seats from green to black. The kit I purchased from The Scratch Doctor was very easy to use and I was really pleased with the results. Might be an alternative option to sourcing new seats.
