Upgraded starter motor for my Westfield. Faster maybe?

Hey Ben,

 

I recently changed my starter motor and I too wanted to upgrade it to high torque version. 

 

I bought a Powerlite RAC483 for my car; ST170 (same block as a Zetec Blacktop) & Zetec flywheel. I had compatibility issues between the starter motor mesh and my Retroford flywheel which caused a strange noise after staring. See below

Hope this work, it’s my first attempt at uploading a video…

I ended up changing it for a Retroford starter motor and the noise disappeared. 
 

I am sure others have had success with high torque starter motors, sadly I didn't. Im pretty certain any Lucas LRS707 starter motor or equivalent is all you really need.
