GSIMP
After 18 years of ownership I'm sadly selling my Westfield. Priorities have changed over the years as family have grown and it hardly gets used. It's still only covered 12,000 miles from new. It's a beautiful car and no expense has been spared on it. Many years ago I was Area Organiser for WSCC Northamptonshire Area so you may have seen the car about. Here's the specs; The engine is a 1800 Zetec fitted as new by Westfield with 2.0 litre cams added, Jenvey Throttle Bodies, 90mm trumpets, MBE ECU, upgraded injectors and a Retro Ford water rail. This was then set up by Troy at Northampton Motorsport giving 145bhp and 128 lb/ft of torque. At the same time a full camber alignment and corner weighting was carried out. All documentation and receipts are included for this with all the graphs, charts and printouts. The list of upgrades and features includes; New Odyssey Battery Techcraft decat silencer Bespoke 4 branch manifold Nickel plated front suspension Poly bushes all round Spax coilovers Alloy uprights Westfield race seats TRS harnesses Floor mounted pedals Lockable boot box Lockable bonnet Vented nose cone Toyo R888s all round Insurance approved immobiliser Sidescreens Tourneo Roof Spare wheel Build manual Huge folder of receipts and documents Fitted Westfield cotton cover I have just fitted new plugs, oil and filter and fuel filter the car has also just had an MOT. At the end of the day, only you know how much (or how little) you are willing to take, but the lower the price, the quicker it will sell - that’s just market economics 😁 Edit to add: car looks in great condition and I’m sure given time it will sell 👍
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman
It's a nice looking car for sure, looks well maintained and in good condition. But, while it has lots that would appeal to an older buyer very familiar with the brand, it does lack some of the tick box items, that rightly or wrongly, many younger buyers, less familiar with older cars, look for. Roll bar, wheels and brakes spring to mind along with many wanting the 2 litre in favour of the 1.8, (to my mind, the 1.8 is actually the sweeter, nicer reving engine, over the 2l Zetec, but you know what people are like! (You may also find the race seats can be a bit too tight for some - larger drivers often don't fit, sadly.) It all comes down to how quickly you need it gone. (I've hesitated about posting on the for sale thread, and more than happy to remove this once you've had a read!)

I'm just hoping to find a buyer that wants a car like my I suppose, or someone that wants an outstanding blank canvas to make the blatting machine of their dreams. I'd happily negotiate on price it's just finding interest, I've had one person since April 🥺 and it's such an amazing looking car.
