Flying_Westie Posted August 8, 2023 Posted August 8, 2023 After some unfortunate timing I have to sell my 1997 Westfield SEW 2.0 Redtop. I am finishing up an overhaul of the car and having to move sooner than expected for work before finishing it up. I have had it for over 2 years and planned to import it to the USA but do not have the time to make it happen. It has the highly desirable 'Redtop' motor that was rebuilt by Hurley Race Engineering earlier this year after a valve issue with no expenses spared for street and light track use. The motor was installed and tuned by Team Leos Racing in the UK. Engine specs: C20XE- 284 SBD inlet, 270 Kent Cams Exhaust, Weber DCOE 45s, baffled oil sump, live rear axel and open diff. Mileage is currently 16800 miles MOT has elapsed and I plan to have it refreshed prior to sell Priced for quick sale, asking £7,500 ONO Will be able to show the car starting this week (12 Aug) Location Mildenhall, UK Good · Professional engine rebuild with pictures and papers · Carbs rebuilt by Team Leos Feb 2023 · New alternator installed Aug 2023 · New clutch fitted Feb 2023 · Brakes have plenty of life (front disks/rear drums) · New steering gaiters July 2023 · New Pipercross sausage filter fitted May 2022 · New custom Intatrim Seats with heating pads Jan 2022 · New OEM Wesfield Silencer (with cat) · Suspension alignment by Team Leos Feb 2023 · Carbon Dash fitted by previous owner in 2021 · Two weather hoods (one original but tatty, one new needs to be fitted) · Second hand Team Dynamics wheels with Toyo Proxes front/R888 rear · 5 speed transmission that shifts smooth · Handbrake readjusted for MOT fail July 2023 · Rear light wiring redone for MOT fail July 2023 Still to do: · Idle needs readjustment (Recommend Hurley Engineering or Team Leos) · Chips on wheel clearcoat · Rubbing on fiberglass rear arches from doors (planned on installing carbon covers) · Roll Bar needs fresh paint/powdercoat · Seat’s heating pads needs to be wired in (comes with harness) · Overall surface scratches on the fiberglass, will try to buff prior to viewing · Old coilovers could use refresh prior to track use Thanks for reading, please reply with any questions.
