Front indicators

Has anyone modified the standard nose cone indicator. Do these lend well to being cut down so it’s more streamlined rather than bug like.

is there enough material to drill & tap for the mounting studs etc.

has anyone found an alternative?

Two types around, metal and plastic. I think the ones being sold are plastic. Not much scope to modify either in my opinion.

Before IVA they were a couple of inches or so shorter

@Ansoeb I have shortened mine, see pic below. the material doesnt lend itself to being tapped successfully so I resined in threaded studs 👍
