Evening,

feeling a little out of place as I don’t have a Westfield. (Hope that’s okay)I have a Luego viento which is under construction. A bit about the car

gm ls1

bmw 8hp70 transmission

haltech r5 vcu

turbolamic tcu

ic7 dash

ford 7.5 quaife diff

I met some lovely people at the kit car show who were kind enough to show me around their car and let my boy Levi play on the driving simulator.

would love to meet some people down in the south west with a general interest in all things automotive. I may regret saying this but I also have a built in ramp (see images) at my house in Exeter which I would be happy for others to use once my beast is road legal.

look forward to meeting some of you

matt

Hi Steve,

it’s a great place. Originally from New Zealand so a little different.

Are there many people down this way?

Welcome from South Derbyshire!

That's going to be awesome with the LS1!

You aren't alone in owning a Luego in the club, Rachael and Iain this pinto engined one 👍

Hi rob,

great to hear from you. Yep will be a bit of a handful with the ls1. The haltech will be working hard to keep traction! Hopefully the transmission will make it a bit easier in those slippery days.

:ww: From sunny Somerset. That’s an intriguing beast you’re building to say the least.

There are a few Westfield owners in the south west. The Dorset area meets find members rolling up from Devon, Somerset and Dorset.

We (Dorset Area) have a display area (10/12 cars planned) at the Historic Vehicle Gathering at Powderham Castle this coming weekend, virtually on your doorstep if you’re interested. Let me know if you come along and I will keep an eye open for you.

Congratulations, enjoy your new “toy”. Hope we can catch up sometime. You are not far from our monthly meet at the Crown Bridport first Thursday of the month from 19.30 onwards, nothing formal.

Again let me know if you venture to Powderham at the weekend.

Apologies for thread hijack @matt rule

Hi Matt from Essex.   Your Luego is going to be a bit of a Mover & Shaker when on the road. Good luck with finishing it.

Great. Can’t wait to have it on the road. Where did you go for Iva? Exeter?

Please, please don't! We welcome all who share our passion for kit cars and motoring. It's fantastic to see a different approach to your car, and we'll look forward to seeing and reading more of it.
