MGG Posted June 26, 2023 Posted June 26, 2023 This engine is out of my Westfield Championship Race Car, it is balanced and blue printed and has only covered approximately 3000 miles since it was fully rebuild by a professional motor sport team in 2003. The engine is fitted with Vernier cam pulleys and comes with an early Alpha ignition which was mapped to the engine on a rolling road. It has not been run since 2008 but turns over fine and has been dry stored inside, there is also a spare baffled sump. Open to offers, pickup only from the Harrogate area.
potster Posted June 26, 2023 Posted June 26, 2023 Interested if it doesn’t work out with Kingster. Based in Skipton so not far from you. any idea what kind of power it made?
MGG Posted June 27, 2023 Author Posted June 27, 2023 Hi - from memory I think it was 156 bhp with twin webbers, the race regulations were very tight and no tuning of the engine was allowed except for lightening and balancing work and the carbs were restricted in choke size to try and ensure you couldn't buy an advantage and keep the engines reliable.
