christoph97
Hi, I'm on the hunt for a westfield. The most important thing it must be is ulez compliant so nothing on carbs plz. Bonus if it's factory built. Would prefer a 2.0 but will consider a very tasteful 1.8. I'm willing to travel up to 100 miles away from London maybe further if the car is perfect. Budget of around 14k, many thanks

christoph97
It applies to any road legal vehicle
Kingster
But even a 2023 built kit car does not need to pass Euro 6 emissions for example, so not sure there is such a thing as a Ulez compliant Westfield (unless anyone knows better?)
Ian Kinder (Bagpuss) - Joint Peak District AO
Stick the reg in here- ULEZ Checker I've tried a Q-Plate Westie I know is on carbs and it doesn't show ! @Russ Bridgewater anything to declare? A Mk1 Escort shows this- His Westie on carbs shows-
Stuart
My 1800 Zetec on Ford EFI with a cat doesn't comply. So I'm sure it's a pretty inexact science for kit cars
Kingster
My Q doesn’t even register as existing 🤣 …apologies for thread drift, but thought it might be important to understand if it’s even remotely possible to get a Ulez Westy 👍

Steve20
Interesting, with the ULEZ Checker I don't comply but with the ULEZ TFL site I do and thats with a 2006 registered Zetec (1993 2.0 Silver top) on throttle bodies but no CAT. Not that I have any plans to drive into ULEZ zones the Westy but good to know!
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman
Yup that first site is carp. It doesn’t even recognise some valid registration numbers, then fails my Honda. Yet if I use any of the government checkers, the other reg numbers are recognised, and the Honda is ULEZ compliant.

Mines compliant too, although I can't think of anything worse than driving it onto London.... I'd be bored after the first traffic light grand prix 😂
