Rob Hunter - Club Secretary
A few of us are heading down to Curborough tomorrow to watch the NHCA sprint. Unusually this is a sprint for motorbikes, sidecars and three wheelers so is a bit different to the normal on track action we normally go to see. Spectators are free as usual but the cafe is unfortunately closed this weekend. Feel free to come along, the weather looks fab 👍

Rob Hunter - Club Secretary
Glorious sunshine today at the Curburgring, I even got my lily white legs out! 😲 I was first to arrive, before Ash, Glynn, Steve, Tony and Lee landed. The track action was interrupted when one of the Supermoto riders highsided on the exit of Woodside. Sadly it appears he dislocated his kneecap meaning we had to wait for an ambulance so he could be taken to hospital... fingers crossed he's OK! We took the opportunity to have a wander in the paddock to admire the machinery. 180bhp in 135kg... not sure who's braver, the rider or his wife who has two handles to cling to! This was another brave/bonkers husband and wife team.... Loads of other interesting bikes, trikes and sidecars Walking back up to the car park, we were passed by a Westfield we didn't recognise... never to let an opportunity to stalk a Westie owner pass me by, I overcame my natural shyness (😂) and went to introduce myself. Turns out I'd met Rich last year when he owned a red zetec turbo car, but he'd recently swapped to this lovely XE turbo with about 260bhp. Being based in Derby, we all invited him to join the WSCC and our local chat group, hopefully he'll join us on a Peaks meet soon! 4
