thebutler
Up for reluctant sale is my SEiW. Originally a 1800 Sport built by a friend of mine and his retired RAF engineer father. I have owned the car since Oct 2017, and in this time it has seen continual development, roughly in this order: Engine swap to 2.0l ST170 and fuel injection Suspension upgrades - poly bushed, widetrack, Protech shocks Brake upgrades - Willwood front calipers Engine bottom end rebuild, ported head, and custom Simpson Racing exhaust Half cage, Dash2 pro, half hood Tracksport Type9 swap As a result of young kids, and the dash2 upgrade project taking longer than expected, although it's been MOT'd every year the milage history looks a bit odd. It's on ~2,200 miles on the dash2, with about 12,000 miles overall, probably less. This is a very well sorted car, and perfect for touring, fast road, and some track use, truly a capable all-rounder. The ECU manages the ST170 lump's VCT properly (not just on/off), and as can be seen from the NMS dyno print out, torque kicks in very low down, and just stays there, not peaky at all. So instant throttle response, and loads of torque, best of all worlds. Car is located just south of Huntingdon, Cambs, and has a fresh MOT. I have a massive pile of paperwork to support all the work done. Full spec is below, I'm looking for £14,000. DM me if interested. That is a nice car, taking the MOT pass, I note on the V5C that there are emission limits in the notes, a Q-plate is visible smoke only, did the tester actually ram the probe up the exhaust? Ian My Q plate V5C is exactly the same. Never had an emissions test at any mot. The Q plate rocks! 😁👍 2
thebutler
No, it's a Q plate, so visible test only. Last year I had the guy at the MOT centre I use test the CO anyway as I was curious, and it was well in the limit as the limits on the v5 are pre-cat anyway.

thebutler
I bought them 5 years ago off eBay. Couldn't find the exact ones on there, but they are something like this. I swap them in/out with standard halogens for mot. Just in case 🙂 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/174587680591?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=cnafplkksfk&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=4qRyld5DRya&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
