Kingster Posted September 16 Posted September 16 Decided to get the document that the bank sent me to fill out for my business account tax info. Unfortunately my Cockapoo puppy got there first… butter wouldn’t melt eh? 6 Quote
RICHARD+PHILIP Posted September 23 Posted September 23 6 months of fuelling headaches because 24 years ago it seemed like a good idea to use a red wire as an earth. 3 1 1 Quote
Stuart Davis AO - Devon Cornwall & Somerset Posted October 19 Posted October 19 Spent until about midnight last night finishing off fitting my new engine mounts, plus the new oil pump. All seems good, engine doesn’t wobble around nearly as much now! 3 Quote
Ewan Posted October 22 Posted October 22 Drove it to work today. That was its first outing since Malvern, as I thought it deserved a run before being put to bed for the winter. Such a fun car, but I hardly ever get to use it. It’s just too easy to jump into something bigger, warmer, more comfy, etc. I really must try and use it more next year, as I say every year🙄 (That said, the odometer ticked over the 4000 mile mark this summer, so not too bad given it’s only 31 years old!😂) 2 1 Quote
Stuart Davis AO - Devon Cornwall & Somerset Posted October 22 Posted October 22 Not today but yesterday now. I had to go in to work near Dartford, and was intending on staying at my parent’s last night in Wokingham. The best laid plans and all that….. As you may have seen on the news, a Tesco lorry driver hit the end of the central reservation at 10pm on Sunday somewhere around junction 6 Westbound and the vehicle caught fire straight away. The M25 was closed Westbound, and down to one lane Eastbound so it took me 4 hours 15 to get in, even leaving at 4.25am. To add insult to injury, my arrangements changed so I had to head back to Somerset last night which then took me 5 hours, getting back at 9.30pm, quite a long day! I’ve done Crewkerne to Dartford then Wokingham again today for another six and a half hours, and will be back to Dartford then finally home tomorrow. Fortunately I’ve got next week off, hurrah! https://www.lbc.co.uk/news/m25-lorry-crash-fire/ 1 Quote

Rab (bombero) Reid Posted November 6 Posted November 6 Look what I've just done .. starting early on my winter projects! It won't be everyone's cup of tea, and it isn't the first time seats have been tartanised in a car! 😁 5 Quote
Chris Larner Posted November 6 Posted November 6 I like it. Did you have the original pads recovered or get someone to make them? 1 Quote
