With Caffeine and Machine owners having now opened their pub, The Knockerdown, we really need to go and have a look at it. They have been refused planning permission for a full on car themed cafe but the pub is open and serving food from midday.

 

So we can meet at Quackers, refresh ourselves, go for a run out and finish up at The Knockerdown.

Hi,

 

I'll be doing the normal pre-meet and convoy to Quackers for those of you coming from the South.

 

We will meet at the A38/A50 services (DE65 6DX) at 845am for a refuel and quick chat, departing for Quackers at 9am prompt.

 

We will be going up to Wirksworth so can add to the convoy at the Co-op petrol station if anyone wants to meet us there at 930am... Please let me know so I know to stop!

 

We will then be taking B5023 from Wirksworth to the Via Gellia before picking up the fabulously twisty B5056 from Grangemill, hopefully landing at Quackers about 10am.

Me and my boy will be coming along too! How long I stay will entirely depend on how long my boy behaves before he needs strapping back into the car for my own state of mind!
