I hadn't realised that we will do 1 3/4 laps, last time I was at Pembrey was with the VSCC and we did less than a lap.

The corner Honda looks particularly challenging, almost flat out with little run off before the Armco.

Take lots of petrol. Potential for lots of runs (of 1.75 laps each) with a reduced entry

Yes honda is a great corner . With a nice bump mid corner just for good measure.  See you guys tomorrow

Almost flat out in my blade on slicks

Great circuit, almost as good as Knockhill and certainly better than Blyton, some really challenging corners.

 

But why did my oil cooler burst? I had a mild off, not too rough at all and came in with oil dripping from the cooler. Is it incorrectly mounted? What went wrong?

hard to tell from the pics but something must be flexing too much and so needs a bit of extra bracketing or struts??

I would really recommend this circuit, many fast challenging corners which are difficult to get right. It is a long way to Pembrey but well worth the trip. There is another sprint on 9/10 September and I would certainly go but we are going on a weeks touring holiday in my Lea-Francis (if the radiator is recored in time).
