DIY-Si
Since the show season is starting to kick off, I'll be attending the March Assembly at Bicester Heritage Centre on Sunday 26th in the XI. You'll need a ticket to get in, they're £5 per person. Under 15s are free. Whilst I've not been to an Assembly before, they're apparently like the bigger quarterly Scrambles but with the dial turned down to 7, rather than up to 11! As this one is motorsport based, I'm hopeful there will be some interesting machinery on show. Click me for more info I'm happy to sort a location for a bit of a run in, should there be sufficient interest. If not, sorting out a time to meet onsite for a brew would be just as good.
kik1.6se
I won’t be at the assembly, but I’ll be at the scramble in April. It’s quite far for myself, but if the weather is good I’ll be in the Westfield
DIY-Si
I will also be at the April Scramble, and hopefully with a few friends in tow: a Cobra, a Lotus Cortina and what ever else the boys can dig out of hiding!
Tom Frankland (T3OMF)
We're going to the March scramble on Sunday, not taking the Westfield though
DIY-Si
To be honest, I'm going to leave the decision as to whether to go in the XI or not until Sunday morning! Dammed weather is so changeable.
DIY-Si
It was dry when we left home, but soon changed and we got a little damp on the way there. We were also a bit late I think, due to the clocks changing, as it was fairly quiet when we arrived at 10.45. Still, there were some interesting vehicles to see, and a lot of people interested in the XI. One guy was so interested that he nearly got run over as he turned round at the sound of the engine. The turning circle, or lack there of, also proved a surprise to some. People were trying to be helpful and stopping to let us maneuver, only to need to step even further back.
