Hi All,

It's pub meet time again!

Venue is the Clock Warehouse in Shardlow (DE72 2GL) and as always we will be upstairs at about 7pm.

Food and drink is optional, a good laugh with friends is compulsory!

Hope to see you there 👍

Another great turnout last night despite the cold!

I'd driven up from the South West to get there so no Westfield for me sadly, thankfully @HB46443 had made the effort!

After ordering food and drinks we made our way upstairs to the usual place where Hedley set up his laptop on the huge TV available in the room to show us the massive amounts of social media content has been producing on behalf of the club through 2022 and 2023.

An amazing effort and is definitely getting our cars and our fantastic club to a completely new audience, bravo @HB46443 we do appreciate your hard work! 👏

Having done Tiktok, Instagram and Facebook, we then started watching YouTube where again we have loads of member footage. We were laughing at the "creative racing lines" Hedley and I took round Curborough last year (we almost got a glimpse of an apex on one occasion!) vs on board footage of Derek, Garry, Howard and Alex in the WSCC Sprint Series carrying huge speeds (I definitely have much learning to do 😂).

There is some amazing footage out there for everyone to view of what our cars are truly capable of when speed limits dont apply! The high speed on boards of Llandow, Anglesey, Blyton, Curborough, 3 Sisters etc in well driven, well set up Westfields is breath taking... I take my hat off to you!

If track work isn't your thing, the amount of content now being built up of meets all round the country (and abroad) on Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok and Youtube is breathtaking. Hopefully the younger audience it reaches get the "seven" bug we all got in our younger years and become future owners and members.

Another great video we watched was the Stoneleigh convoy in 2022. Despite the weather, the convoy was HUGE and a load of us had funny anecdotes to tell of the trip and the weekend, makes be impatient for Malvern!

A photo of the crew fascinated (or horrified?!) by Hedleys very, very scary laptop browsing history 😂😂

Funnily enough I've just put up a long, rambling post on the WSCC Social Facebook page about how good these meets are.

We are getting brilliant turnouts to all the meets, amazing given its still "SORN season" 👍
